My name is Jessica Kavanagh. I’ve been running my own business, Creative Ark, since I was 16 years old, working with local Australian businesses and overseas clients to create and maintain their training materials.
I’ve also worked for the Commonwealth Bank and BHP Billiton as a technical writer, producing and editing standard operating procedures, software manuals, and other corporate documents.
In over fourteen years working with the charity OneSky, I’ve helped to create learning materials to teach adults how to care for children. The programs were rolled out in mainland China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Mongolia. This means I have experience creating and honing written and visual materials and working with translators to deliver training in multiple languages.
I specialise in e-learning, user manuals, job aids, standard operating procedures, and the creation of customised Microsoft Word templates.
If you want e-learning, documentation, or training materials that meet your needs and makes your business shine, I would love to work with you. Click here to get in contact.

What Is That Accent?
Most people can’t pick my accent when they hear me speak or do voice-overs. For the record, I grew up in Western Australia (where the accent is much posher than Crocodile Dundee) and I’m married to an Englishman. I spent two years living in China where I refined my accent to be easily understood by non-Australians.
If you’d like to hear what I sound like, have a listen to my voice-over sample.
